Hungry Buffalo in the Tall Grass: This buffalo was photographed at the Tallgrass Prairie Preserve of Oklahoma, which includes the largest protected remnant (39,650 acres) of protected remnant of tallgrass prairie left on earth. The buffalo swarmed around us, all in one herd as it was mating season. We were extremely lucky to experience this close encounter with these primitive animals and are happy to share it with you.
